The Collective Research and Innovation Outcomes Report not only celebrates each RDC’s individual contribution across Research, Development, Extension, Adoption and Commercialisation (RDEA&C), but also the outcomes from their collective efforts that are enabling ground-breaking advancements to tackle current challenges and also create new opportunities.

Seftons was appointed by the Council of Rural Research and Development Corporations to develop a report which talks to the collective impact of RDCs, particularly on the issues and opportunities facing Australia’s agriculture, fisheries and forestry sectors. The report is a valuable tool for the Federal Government to reference at a national and international level, as well as for RDCs to use to demonstrate the value of their levy investments.
Seftons’ senior team of specialist policy and copywriters undertook a desktop review of the RDC’s priority programs, and cross collaborative initiatives. The report focused on key themes such as:
- Low emissions
- Trade
- Sustainability
- Biosecurity
- Workforce
- First Nations
The report demonstrates the collective impact of the RDCs and highlights some case studies for how investments are translating to adoption and change. The report is available here: https://www.ruralrdc.com.au/resources/collective-research-and-innovation-outcomes-report
