Interviewing 50 Peak Industry Bodies, industry and government stakeholders and Hort Innovation teams revealed the need for collaborative engagement and leadership at all levels.
While the focus of the interviews Seftons conducted with stakeholders was the roles and responsibilities of Hort Innovation and PIBs, plus the advice mechanism, a broad range of topics were discussed.
Seftons worked with Senior Management of Hort Innovation to develop a process for the Hort Innovation Board’s consideration, designed to address some of the feedback gathered through the interviews.
That included the establishment of a Working Group, a framework to address the general themes of the feedback and a series of workshops as an opportunity for all stakeholders to come together and consider how to improve outcomes for all industry participants.
