Seftons was contracted by Namoi Unlimited – a Joint Organisation of Councils comprising Gunnedah Shire Council, Gwydir Shire Council, Liverpool Plains Shire Council, Tamworth Regional Council and Walcha Council – to identify challenges and opportunities that could be addressed collectively by the group.
Seftons facilitated workshops with the Mayors of each member Council, the General Managers of each member Council, and the Board of Namoi Unlimited. During these workshops participants were guided through a review of the charter, governance framework, and future business model of Namoi Unlimited. Each group was then taken through a facilitated process to identify strategic priorities for the next three to five years, operational priorities, working groups, budget and resourcing.
The outcomes from these facilitated workshops were compiled into a report by Seftons, with analysis and recommendations to guide the development of the Namoi Unlimited Strategic Plan and Business Plan.
