Australia’s Farming Future (AFF) was one of the Australian Government’s key climate change adaptation initiatives for primary industries. It provided funding to help primary producers adapt and respond to climate change. DAFF engaged Seftons to develop and run information sessions around Australia for primary producers and their influencers (such as extension officers, agronomists and business consultants).
We convened a panel of experts in climate change and agriculture to oversee the project and liaised with government and industry groups to develop informed, relevant regionally-specific content for the project. We ran a series of information sessions, and developed case studies, DVDs and website about funded projects, and ran a media campaign that promoted the information sessions and shared the key messages with the wider community.
